The Lyra range from Surgeine Healthcare represents a new generation of surgical gown protection. Manufactured from High Performance, Light Weight, Soft ARAS (Alcohol Repellent & Anti-Static) SMMMS fabric, Lyra gowns are engineered to repel low surface tension liquids including blood, body fluids, and alcohol — providing a superior barrier where standard fabrics fall short.
Lyra gowns deliver best-in-class tensile, tear, and burst strength while remaining virtually lint-free for a clean, controlled sterile field. The Standard Gown exceeds AAMI Level 3 protection under AAMI norms. The gowns are cut wider at the chest and sleeves for an excellent combination of safety, comfort, and freedom of movement.
Available in Standard, Reinforced, and Full Reinforced configurations, Lyra gowns are the ideal choice for procedures involving high-alcohol environments and where static control is critical.
